You will see ads only while you are online and browsing the web.

Well, it depends upon your web-browsing activity. On average, we display 4 - 5 ads per user per day. Many people see fewer than 4 ads. Active web shoppers will likely see more than 5 ads, including comparison shopping results.
What Kind of Ads Will You See?
While you are online, you will see advertisements and comparison shopping results related to your web-browsing activity. The ads will slide or pop up in front of or behind your browser and will always be clearly-branded "Powered by AdVantage" so you will know they are from us.
You may see ads in different shapes and sizes, but all ads "Powered by AdVantage" will pop up in a window that is branded like the sample ad on the right side of this page.
Your Privacy is Protected
AdVantage respects and ensures your privacy. In fact, we have been recognized as an industry leader in best practices. We do not collect personal information. We do not know who you are and will never attempt to find out.

You Can Change Your Mind Anytime
You can uninstall AdVantage at any time by going to the Add/Remove Programs section of your computer's Control Panel.
Uninstallation Instructions

To uninstall AdVantage from your desktop, you may be required to uninstall all of the software that is powered by AdVantage.

To see what software you have downloaded that is powered by AdVantage, follow these instructions:

Click on the Start Menu button

Click on the Control Panel option

Double-click on Add/Remove Programs
-
Look in the list of currently installed programs for entries "Powered by AdVantage"

Remove all software applications found above by selecting and clicking the Change/Remove button for each application.

Once all software applications powered by AdVantage are removed, AdVantage will automatically be uninstalled.

If you are experiencing any difficulties with this uninstall process, you can also find a manual uninstaller in the folder c:\Program Files\AdVantage. Double-click on the AdVUninst program and follow the prompts for removal of the software.
